Don’t Go With The Flow — Dead Bodies Float
How many times did someone tell you to go with the flow?
Pause and think for a moment, being holistic is different compared to going with the flow.
Going With The Flow
A river is the most metaphorical explanation. Thinking about it, at the end of the river, there are waterfalls or it goes out into the ocean. But not many people realize that dead bodies float as well.
You can relax but be careful not to end up in the middle of the ocean.
The Meaning Of Being Holistic
Being holistic is moving in God’s will if you are thinking in a spiritual way. Every step you take, the gut feelings you follow, and your reaction to external events are moving parts of being holistic.
It is different compared to going with the flow because going with the flow is a choice and in your control. While holism [being holistic] is not in your control but you still agree to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Why Going With The Flow Sounds Amazing
In our minds, we immediately think of ‘I can relax/slow down’ or ‘follow the trend’. It can be positive or negative.
I Am Not Telling You What To Do
Go with the flow if you want to but be aware of the luxury of the comfort zone. Life moves on. Comfort zones are a slow death [hence the dead bodies float]. It is easier to become lazy when things are easy because you will be doing minimal.
Getting the reps in only makes you stronger.
